This exquisite bowl is made from 5 different metals representing Copper (Venus), Iron (Mars), Tin (Jupiter), Mercury/Quicksilver (Mercury) and Lead (Saturn). Sometimes it is seen to be interpreted to represent five elements and five senses.
This Bowl can be rubbed with a mallet to produce a complex and beautiful sound full of wonderful harmonics and overtones or can be struck with mallet which they do in healing therapy.
